Hover an item to see where it ranks for your spec at your current level, and where it comes from: the quest and its level, the boss, the vendor or the profession. Upgrades you can't use yet show the level they become good.

What it does
Compared with what you wear
Every item your class can use shows how it stacks up: +17% over equipped, equipped is better, or usable at level 40. Rings and trinkets are compared with your weaker one, random-suffix greens by their actual roll.
Upgrade alerts
Loot, roll on or receive an item that beats your gear and a small pop-up tells you how much better it is. Nothing pops up mid-fight; it waits until combat ends.
Bags, character frame and My BiS
Green arrows on bag items that are upgrades, BiS ranks on your equipped gear, and /fwow bis for every slot's best pick at your level, where to get it and how much better it is.
Best quest reward, marked
When a quest lets you choose a reward, the best one for your spec gets a checkmark and its rank, on both the accept and the turn-in screen.
Your BiS page and minimap button
Type /fwow for a ready-to-copy link to your class, spec and level page on this site, or use the minimap button: left-click opens My BiS, right-click gives the link.

How to install

With the CurseForge app (recommended)
Search for “ForeverWoW.gg BiS” in the CurseForge app, pick World of Warcraft: Forever and click Install. Updates arrive automatically.

Manually
Download the .zip and unzip it into the Interface\AddOns folder of your World of Warcraft: Forever installation, so you get Interface\AddOns\ForeverWoWBiS\ForeverWoWBiS.toc. In the Battle.net launcher, the gear icon next to Play → Show in Explorer opens the game folder.

Turn it on
On the character screen, click AddOns and make sure ForeverWoW.gg BiS is ticked. In game, type /fwow to check it's working.

Is the addon free?
Yes. It's free, and it shows the same rankings you see on ForeverWoW.gg.
How does it stay up to date?
A new version is released whenever the rankings change, for example after a patch or hotfix to World of Warcraft: Forever. The CurseForge app installs it for you.
Does it slow down my game or send data anywhere?
No. Only your own class's rankings are loaded, items are looked up when you hover them, and WoW addons can't access the internet.
Why doesn't an item show a rank?
Only items that make a top 10 for a slot for your class are shown. The full lists for every slot, level and spec are on this site.
